TREE STEWARDSHIP DAY

El Puente's Green Light District and Mothers Out Front invite you to Tree Stewardship Day where we will be caring for trees between Havemeyer and South 4th St. Our goal is to create awareness about the necessity of tree care and expanding our tree canopy in the Southside, while advocating for BQ Green, a proposed park which would deck over a portion of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and provide more quality air and green space for Brooklyn. This Tree Stewardship Day is an ongoing activity in a series of tree care days we will be hosting throughout summer and early fall.
